The Tavistock Round Bath Deck Shower Handset Kit is a deck-mounted round hand shower in a brushed brass finish, designed to fit onto the tap deck (ledge) of your bath rather than the wall, for a neat, minimalist look. It's built to complement rounded brassware styles, redirecting water from your bath tap to the handset so you can rinse, wash hair or clean the bath without a separate wall-mounted shower.
The kit includes a weighted brass shower hose finished in a limescale-resistant chrome tone, along with the handset, base plate and all the fixings needed to mount it through the bath deck. Kent Traders' own listing describes the finish as corrosion and tarnish resistant, with an ergonomic round handset shape for comfortable everyday use.

Does your bath tap or mixer have a shower/diverter outlet? This kit redirects water from your bath tap to the handset - it isn't a standalone shower valve with its own water supply. You'll need a compatible tap or mixer to connect the hose to before this will work.

Can the tap deck be drilled, with access underneath? The base plate fits through a hole in the bath's tap deck and is secured from below with a washer and fixing nut. Check you (or your installer) can drill the deck if needed, and can reach underneath the bath to tighten the fixing.

Will this work with my existing bath taps?
It's designed to redirect water from your bath tap or mixer to the handset via a diverter/shower outlet - it doesn't include its own shower valve. Check your existing tap has a shower outlet connection before ordering.
Is this a deck-mounted or wall-mounted handset?
