How to use the grid kit builder

  1. Pick your series and finish. Nexus Grid (raised metal), Nexus Screwless (flat plate) or Evolve (slim edge-to-edge) — the finish selector shows what's available in each. Match it to the sockets in the room (see the finishes guide).
  2. Choose your plate size. Count the switches you need — one module per appliance or circuit — and add one spare position (a blank module costs pennies; a bigger plate later means re-plastering).
  3. Fill the positions. Click each slot and pick the module: labelled appliance rockers (OVEN, HOB, DISHWASHER…), 20A double-pole switches for heaters and water heaters, light switch and dimmer modules, fuse holders, key switches or blanks.
  4. Add the frame and box. The builder highlights the matching grid frame for your plate size and offers the right surface or flush mounting box — larger plates need 35mm+ depth (see the back box guide).
