6kg dry powder fire extinguishers are ideal for use in caravans and small workshops. With a Class A (solid materials) and Class B (paints, solutions, flammable liquids and gases) rating, and a stainless steel body, these dry powder extinguishers are not only multi-functional and durable but also very stylish.

Our stainless steel fire extinguishers are manufactured using exactly the same standards and processes as our Kitemarked units. They are tested and registered with LPCB but, as with any non-red unit, they cannot meet British Standards which stipulates the colour of the cylinder.
Please note: The use of powder fire extinguishers indoors is not recommended by BS 5306-8:2012 due to the mess powder creates and the potential impairment of vision and respiration it can cause.
In many indoor environments, water mist fire extinguishers are a suitable alternative and are ideal for tackling most common types of fire.
