The BG Electrical Nexus Screwless Flat-Plate FBN22B is a black nickel double (2 gang) switched electrical socket with black inserts, manufactured by British General Electrical.

The FBN22B has an extremely slim (under 5mm thick), modern design with smooth rounded edges, black inserts that blend into the finish and flat faces that is suitable for a wide range of both commercial and domestic applications.

Its Clip On, Clip Off front plate design is secure and easy to install, and the socket itself can be retrofitted into existing backboxes (25mm minimum box depth required). This electrical socket features colour coded terminals with backed out captive screws to further increase the ease of installation.

Furthermore, the FBN22B is fitted with a moisture-control gasket which enables it to be installed into recently plastered walls without the risk of tarnishing the finish. Twin earths are fitted as standard to facilitate high-integrity protective connections, as per BS 7671 regulations.
