Frequently Asked Questions
Not on this item. It is sent direct by the manufacturer on their own courier, usually within 3–5 working days, so our same-day dispatch cut-off does not apply to it. Items we dispatch ourselves from Dartford are free over £50 and can be upgraded to next-day at checkout.
Our switches, sockets, consumer units and fixed-wiring accessories meet BS 7671 (18th Edition) requirements. Each product page lists the relevant British Standards in the specifications. Notifiable installation work should be carried out by a qualified electrician under Part P of the Building Regulations.
Our bathroom zone guide recommends IP65 or higher in Zone 1, at least IP44 in Zone 2, and IP65 or above outdoors. We do not publish an IP rating on individual product pages, so check the rating marked on the product or its manufacturer datasheet, or ask us and we will confirm before you order.
