Enabling secure external access to a door fitted with Briton panic or emergency hardware, the Briton 9260 outside access mechanical code lock features an easy to use lever handle (ideal for less able users) and can be used on both left and right handed doors. The unit is fitted with a "shear pin" designed to break under heavy stress, protecting the internal mechanism from vandalism or misuse. The Briton outside access mechanical code lock is ideal for applications where keeping a key, fob or access card would be unsuitable.
