Frequently Asked Questions
Dispatch times vary by item. Stocked items ordered before 12pm Monday–Friday are dispatched the same day from our Dartford warehouse, and some items are sent direct by the manufacturer. We confirm the dispatch arrangements for your order in your order confirmation. Delivery is free on stocked items over £50.
Our switches, sockets, consumer units and fixed-wiring accessories meet BS 7671 (18th Edition) requirements. Each product page lists the relevant British Standards in the specifications. Notifiable installation work should be carried out by a qualified electrician under Part P of the Building Regulations.
Our bathroom zone guide recommends IP65 or higher in Zone 1, at least IP44 in Zone 2, and IP65 or above outdoors. We do not publish an IP rating on individual product pages, so check the rating marked on the product or its manufacturer datasheet, or ask us and we will confirm before you order.
