This screwless polished chrome 4 module plate brings the TV aerial, an HDMI feed and a CAT6 network point through a single opening in the wall, which is exactly what a media wall needs.

On a media wall the television is mounted on plasterboard and the equipment sits in a cabinet below or to one side. The cables run inside the wall. Without a plate like this you either have three separate outlets across the wall or a loop of cable showing beneath the screen. This puts all three in one place and finishes flush, with no visible screws on the front.

The HDMI module is a female-to-female coupler. An HDMI cable connects into the back of the module inside the wall, and a second cable plugs into the front. The rear connector is set at 90 degrees, which helps where the wall void is shallow. Because it is a coupler and not a fixed lead, either cable can be replaced later without opening up the wall. The module is suitable for high speed, 3D ready HDMI 1.4 cables. HDMI cables are not included.

The data outlet is an RJ45 CAT6 socket supporting speeds of up to 10Gbps at 250 MHz, with IDC terminals that need no soldering and ID windows so the point can be labelled. The TV point is an IEC female return outlet carrying TV, FM and DAB. Screened outlets contain a metal casing around the contacts acting as an earthed Faraday cage, preventing external RF signals from interfering with the reception.

Plate aperture 100 x 50mm. Requires a standard UK back box with a minimum depth of 25mm. Moisture control gasket and earth terminal fitted, and the anti-fingerprint lacquer reduces unsightly fingerprints. Plate, HDMI outlet and TV outlet certified to BS 5733.
