The BG Electrical Nexus Grid RBS12KY is a brushed stainless-steel single-pole 2-way secret key switch module, rated at 20AX.

A versatile switch module, the RBS12KY is rated at 20AX, meaning it is suitable not only for everyday lighting purposes, but can also handle the inductive current from electric motors and fluorescent tubing. Using a secret-key system, the RBS12KY is particularly suited to use with emergency lighting but works anywhere a switch is needed that can’t be accidentally or easily flipped – insert the key and move up and down for safe, secure use.

It’s easily fitted into a Nexus Grid frame and front plate – simply use the ‘locate & clip’ fitting which securely holds the module onto the frame. The brushed stainless-steel finish has a sleek, modern look and is lightly lacquered to reduce the impression of fingerprints.

To aid installation, the RBS12KY comes with captive terminal screws, helping to simplify wiring without the use of solder. A minimum back box depth of 25mm is required for this module.
