The BG Electrical Nexus Grid R13 is a white single-pole intermediate switch module, rated at 20AX.
A versatile switch module, the R13 is rated at 20AX, meaning it is suitable not only for everyday lighting purposes, but can also handle the inductive current from electric motors and fluorescent tubing. An intermediate switch, it’s particularly suited to light fittings that need controlling from three or more locations, such as some stairwells.
It’s easily fitted into a Nexus Grid frame and front plate – simply use the ‘locate & clip’ fitting which securely holds the module onto the frame. Made of white urea, this switch has inherent anti-microbial properties that make it ideal for anywhere with a heavy traffic.
To aid installation, the R13 comes with captive terminal screws, helping to simplify wiring without the use of solder. A minimum back box depth of 25mm is required for this module.
