The BG Electrical Nexus Metal NBN52 is a black nickel switched 13A fused connection unit with a flush neon indicator, manufactured by British General Electrical.

The NBN52 is a switched fused connection unit applicable for anywhere that requires a constantly installed appliance such as a fridge or a washing machine. With softly rounded corners, a versatile black nickel finish with matching switch and fuse cover and a depth of only 29mm, it has a sleek modern profile that will complement a wide range of interior decor. It has a lightly lacquered surface to reduce the impression of fingerprints and with no visible plastic surrounding the switch or fuse, it will continue to look clean and tidy even with repeated usage.

This fused connection unit can house one fuse up to 13A, and features 2 earth terminals as standard to allow for high integrity wiring connections. The NBN52 also features a neon indicator for easy visibility in low-light areas.

The NBN52 can be easily retrofitted into an existing backbox (35mm minimum box depth required) and is supplied with colour matched fixing screws, backed-out captive screws and fitting instructions to ensure an easy installation. Furthermore, it comes fitted with an integrated moisture-control gasket which prevents tarnishing of the metal edges, meaning it can be installed in a recently plastered wall.

As standard on all BG sockets and switches, the NBN52 comes with a 25-year guarantee.
