The BG Electrical Nexus Metal NBN22UWRB is a black nickel double (2 gang) switched electrical socket with black inserts, a Type A USB socket and WiFi extender, manufactured by British General Electrical.

Ideal for the office but suitable for a huge range of both commercial and domestic applications, the NBN22UWRB has a slim profile, black inserts that blend in with the black nickel finish and softly rounded corners which allows it to complement almost any decor. With a lightly lacquered surface to reduce the impression of fingerprints and no visible plastic around the switches, it will continue to look clean and tidy even with repeated usage.

The NBN22UWRB features 1 2.1A Type A USB, allowing a huge range of personal devices to be charged, including cameras, mobile phones and tablets. These sockets feature BG’s Smart USB technology, which automatically puts the socket into standby mode when the device is fully charged, detects the USB device and tailors the style of charging to suit and has an overload protection function – all of which keeps the costs low and the consumer safe. The NBN22UWRB also features a WiFi extender, which works with all wireless broadband routers to improve the coverage within the vicinity.

The socket features a dual earth wiring as standard ensuring high integrity connection and can easily be retrofitted into an existing backbox (25mm minimum box depth required). For further ease of installation, all terminals are angled and colour-coded and have captive screws.

As standard on all BG sockets and switches, the NBN22UWRB comes with a 10-year guarantee (note: not applicable to USB sockets).
