- 1x RPCDB12 - Grid Evolve 20AX Switch Module 2 Way, Single Pole - Black
Which bulbs: the dimmer is rated 5 to 150W per dimmer in trailing edge mode (the default setting) and 5 to 100W in leading edge mode, for dimmable LED, halogen and incandescent lamps. Use dimmable lamps only and keep the total load within this range.
Back box: use a 35mm deep back box for an easy fit, as the dimmer module is deep. The manufacturer minimum is 25mm, but a shallow box leaves little room for the wiring.
Fitting: clip the modules into the frame, wire, fix the frame to the back box, fit the Evolve front plate, then push on the dimmer knob. Installation by a competent person is recommended.
