The BG Electrical Nexus Grid RBN30 is a black nickel double-pole switch module, rated at 20AX.
A versatile switch module, the RBN30 is rated at 20AX, meaning it is suitable not only for everyday lighting purposes, but can also handle the inductive current from electric motors and fluorescent tubing. Owing to its double-pole nature, it functions well for 20A appliances that would benefit from the additional safety of live and neutral switching, such as water heaters.
It’s easily fitted into a Nexus Grid frame and front plate – simply use the ‘locate & clip’ fitting which securely holds the module onto the frame.
To aid installation, the RBN30 comes with captive terminal screws, helping to simplify wiring without the use of solder. A minimum back box depth of 25mm is required for this module.
As per the entire Nexus Grid range, the RBN30 comes with a 25-year manufacturer’s warranty for peace of mind. It is manufactured to BS EN 60669-2-1 to comply with national regulations.
