This Nexus 800 series white moulded RCD protected double socket from British General continuously monitors the supply to electrical appliances plugged in to it and cuts the power if an earth current fault is detected protecting against the risk of a fatal electric shock. This latched (passive) version, if set, will retain closed contacts if the mains supply is interrupted – essential for appliances like fridge freezers, with no need to reset after a loss of power.Its moulded white front-plate has a high resistance to fading, discolouration and scratches, with inherent anti-microbial properties proven to reduce bacterial development and inhibit the growth of infectious diseases.Designed with in-line terminals and captive screws for ease of installation, and finished with soft rounded edges and screw caps for a premium appearance.
