With constant trolley and wheelchair traffic it is the leading edge of the door that suffers most from 'porter damage' which not only results in general damage to the door but also possible loss of the fire integrity of the door.
Astroflame have overcome this problem with their range of Fire rated Door Edge Guards which are available in various sizes from 44 - 46mm width and lengths up to 2500mm.
Fitted with intumescent fire and smoke seals which are vandal-resistant yet easy to replace, these aluminium door edge guards are ideal for maintaining fire integrity and can be used on the front and back edges of fire resisting door sets.
Available in aluminium or RAL Colours up to 2500mm long & Widely specified throughout the UK healthcare market.
Intumescent and smoke seals fully fire tested up to 1/2 or 1 hours and eliminate the need for repetitive maintenance.
